Volunteer Positions

Nancy Turner

Founder and Executive Director

Nancy has been ministering in Haiti since 1989. Before establishing  Love and Grace Ministries - Haiti in 2009, Nancy was on the board of directors with two other non-profit organizations for Haiti for 25+ years. She has three biological children. Nancy and her husband adopted Daniel and Michael from Haiti. 

Robin Holmes

Chair of the Board

Robin is from South Carolina. She worked at a Christian school for 11 years. She is working as a volunteer youth leader at her church and  is also on the mission's committee. She is married and has four children. She has been traveling to Haiti since 2015 with our mission teams. 

Jennifer Knable

Vice President of the Board

Jennifer is from Pennsylvania. She is an  Occupational Therapist. Jen is very involved in her church teaching Sunday School, teen ministry, local outreach in her community and Operation Christmas Child. Jen has been married for 32 years and has three sons. She has been traveling to Haiti since 2020 with our  mission teams.   

Courtney Ong


Courtney is from Arizona. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelors degree in Management Information Systems. She is a trade planning lead with a major corporation. She is married. She began traveling to Haiti in 2015 with our mission teams.

Junior Sinsmyr

Board Member

Junior lives in Haiti. He has been associated with Love and Grace since its beginning. He checks on the boys on a regular basis and reports back on any given situation that needs attention. Junior was trained in primary dental care and does dental care in Haiti. He is married and has one daughter. 

Jacques Edouard

Board Member

Jacques moved from Haiti to South Carolina in 2013. He was employed at the boys home in 2009 when it was established as our night security person. He travels with the mission teams for security purposes.  He is the liaison between the board and Haiti. Jacques is a tailor and works for a boat detailing company.  He is married and has three children.
